I smile because…!

I smile because I have survived everything the world has thrown at me.  I smile because when I was knocked down, I got back up.  I smile to show those that thought I was weak, that I am stronger than they knew.  I smile because it says that I am in control of me and that is a power that I refuse to give up.  I smile because all that does in fact give me peace and make me happy… now I understand why people quite often tell me that I am always smiling.  As I read each one, I said “yup”.  All of that and I am loving what life is offering me, especially over the last three years or so, and allowing me choose how I want to proceed.  I am proceeding by what feels good to me intuitively and coming from a heart-centered place.  I ignore the negativity, have made some great friends that support me, and met some great colleagues and clients that also support me.  This is what makes me happy and makes me smile.

How about you?  Are you smiling?  If yes, why?  If no, why not?  Please feel free to comment below.  Look back at these “I smile” statements.  Think back and remember some of your bad days and situations- where are you now?  What did you do to survive?  If you are still trying to get into survival mode, think, feel, and do with some positivity- and, yes, put a smile on your face.  That alone, gives you the inspiration and motivation to bust through any hardships that you are currently facing.  Think about what you’d like to have, where you’d like to be, where you’d like to go, what career that would allow you to love doing as to where you can’t tell the difference between work and play.  (For me, that is coaching and “healing”… it only took me 45 years to find the career that I’d love).
