For those who know me or have seen my work, posts, and shares on the business and social sites, my current tagline is Do What You Love- Live Life @ 300%.  Using an abundance of Wealth, Health, & Happiness for each at 100%.  This is quite achievable even when your ultimate goals of rich and famous have not manifested.  It’s all about current state of mind and gratefulness.

Each of the three blog posts, I will bring in personal stories and my thoughts and reasons how this is possible.  With hopes that this will inspire you and motivate you to think in a similar viewpoint for a wealthier, healthier, and happier you.  It will actually bring you closer to your goals and dreams.

This week, I will focus on the second of the series, Doing What I Love and 100% Health.

One doesn’t need to be completely healthy and free of ills to have and feel 100% of health. Much of this, again, goes to your thought patterns and action patterns and not so much age related. I’ve known people in their 70s, 80s, and 90s that are much healthier mentally and physically than those in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. If you are positive thinking, doing, and emoting, don’t worry or think about getting sick, and being grateful, you can pretty much lead a healthy life. If you get caught up in drama, think and feel negatively, always thinking and worried about getting sick, watch the news, then your chances of getting and staying ill is great. Those who are disabled and think positive and don’t let their disability stop them from living and doing things that they enjoy will lead to a healthier and longer life than those who have a “woe is me” attitude and let’s their disability keep them from doing things.

I first started getting really stressed at work and asked one of my coworkers, who is a Reiki Master Practitioner, what Reiki was and how it could help me with the stress. After telling me about it and peaking my interest, I set up an appointment with her. It was amazing, even after the first session. I had decided to set up a standing appointment with her for every three weeks to keep the stress at a minimal. It also helped me sleep better and helped with other ailments. I then changed jobs and stopped going for Reiki sessions. In time, this job became even more stressful and the employee morale was very low, affecting me greatly- to the point to where I would feel chest pains on my way to work. This was a pretty bad time for me, as I became negative and grumpy, and even worse, taking all that baggage home with me, affecting our home life. I had the want and the need to eventually become self employed, so I took a Law Of Attraction coach certification course. This had opened my eyes greatly and I still promote the ideology of the Law Of Attraction. It also allowed me to become more positive, open minded, and spiritual. To deal with the stress from work, I started the Reiki sessions again and added daily meditation during my lunch break. Just after becoming LOA coach certified, I got myself fired. This was a good thing, especially the feeling of stress leaving my neck and shoulders the second I walked out the doors.

A time when I felt really good and healthy is when I decided to take ballroom dance lessons. After a short time, I was competing with my instructor, found an amateur partner, who later become my wife. I wasn’t great at it for some time, but I loved it, and it made me feel good. The atmosphere at the dance studio and travelling to compete is in its own world, itself. We competed in about 200 competitions in a span of about 15 years as amateurs, becoming regional and national champions in our age groups and divisions. Physically and mentally, I was in great shape during this time- enjoying the sport and art of ballroom dancing. We “retired” from competing and became DanceSport officials, travelling and working (for pay), still enjoying the energetic atmosphere.

While setting up Law Of Attraction workshops, I came upon a Reiki Master Teacher. Knowing about Reiki and its health benefits from when I received it for years, I decided to become Reiki certified (Level 1). About a year or so later, I continued the path and became Reiki certified Level 2, Advanced Reiki Trained, and Master Teacher certified. At each step of the way, my positivity and spiritualism grew and I have felt much healthier, as well as helping others feel balanced and healthier.

Now, at age 52, I can say that I am healthier and feel better physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually than I did when I was in my late 30s and 40s. I am so grateful for this and for the opportunities that had led me to where I am today- self employed and loving the work that I do- helping people in different aspects of their lives through coaching and Reiki Energy Healing- Living Life @ 300% and Doing What I Love To Do!
